Residential Experience
The residential community provides you with opportunities to interact with a variety of people. Start by getting to know your roommate, and then get to know your neighbors. Before long you’ll have a network of new friends on campus!
Your residential community leadership
Here are some of the staff who help you adapt to your new home:
- Residence life coordinators (RLCs) are professional staff members who live in each residence hall. They train and work with the RAs and oversee the administration of the building.
- Resident advisors (RAs) are student leaders who live on residence hall floors and in campus apartments. They are trained to provide leadership to the residents and plan activities and programs.
- 大厅委员会 are comprised of students in the residence hall who oversee the hall’s budget, plan activities, and represent a residence hall at Student Senate meetings. You may apply to become a hall council member and represent your floor at the meetings.
- Student ministry coordinators (SMCs) live in the halls and focus on the development of students’ spiritual needs.
